Badischer Weinradweg - Etappe 8: Badische Bergstraße

Wiesloch - Laudenbach

The eighth stage of the Baden Wine Cycle Path leads around 47 km through the Badische Bergstraße wine region.

From Wiesloch, the final stage now leads through the Badische Bergstraße wine region to the Hessian state border.

Before reaching the well-known Heidelberg, the route passes vineyards and orchards through the wine-growing village of Rohrbach. In Heidelberg Castle, you can marvel at the over 400-year-old Great Barrel, which once held 130,000 liters of wine.The route continues through the region known as the "Electoral Palatinate" via Dossenheim, Schriesheim and Hirschberg to the "twin-castle town" of Weinheim (Windeck Castle and Wachenburg) and finally to Laudenbach, the final destination of the wine cycle route.
