Four endangered sheep breeds can be observed along the approximately 4 km long circular trail - from the Pomeranian land sheep to the Carinthian spectacled sheep, the old sheep breeds can be experienced live. With a bit of luck, you may also see Carniolan stone sheep or Coburg fox sheep, which are not a permanent feature of the hiking trail, but can be seen there from time to time. The individual sheep breeds live in small flocks of 5 to 6 ewes and varying numbers of lambs. To protect the animals, the sheep pasture should never be entered independently.</p
