Kanufahren auf der Oberen Donau

Welcome to the Upper Danube Valley and the most beautiful sections for canoeing from Hausen im Tal to Hundersingen.

The Upper Danube is a largely natural stretch of river in the middle of a uniquely beautiful landscape and will offer you exceptional enjoyment of nature and relaxing days.

During the sections, canoes can be hired from the various boat rental companies:

Of course you can also use your own canoe on the Danube. However, you will need a permit for this. This costs €5.00 per boat per day. You can request the permit online at Canoeing. Of course, you can also contact the relevant company to issue the permit, depending on the entry point:

If the contingent for your desired route is exhausted, please switch to another day or to other free sections of the route. Please understand that a refund of the fee is not possible due to bad weather, low water levels or other reasons.
