Florshainer Sandweg

A special experience for ages 0 to 99! On this circular trail in the nature reserve, you can go on a discovery tour of the untouched landscape. You will come across an active anthill, can listen to the chirping of various bird species at the Biedebach ponds and see other animal species that have created a new habitat here. The beautiful sunset in the evening is impressive. Maybe you'll be lucky and a frog concert will take place at the newly created biotope. The "Donkey Trail" (which is signposted and later rejoins the sandy path) shows how the underground supply of the castle/castle on the Kirchberg was once ensured.

The starting point is the parking lot at the village hall (DGH) in Schwalmstadt-Florshain. There is a board here showing other small hiking trails.
The path is suitable for baby carriages, children's vehicles etc.
