The premium hiking trail "Der Teinacher" delights hiking enthusiasts in the Black Forest with wild and romantic streams, fantastic views, e.g. from the Zavelstein castle ruins and the Mathildenstaffeln - with over 600 stone steps. The WanderWelten Teinachtal in the northern Black Forest offers a variety of hiking tours, a perfect starting point for a hiking vacation with premium hiking trails

The Teinacher Premium Trail - hiking in the Black Forest
Exciting past, idyllic valleys, unspoiled nature - these are the characteristics of the "Der Teinacher" gourmet trail in the Black Forest. The start is at the outdoor pool parking lot at the entrance to Bad Teinach in the northern Black Forest. After just a few meters, hikers are surrounded by nature and beautiful views of the WanderWelten Teinach Valley on the Beerenweg trail.The Teinach Valley accompanies the hiker for quite some time until the highlight of the trail, the Mathildenstaffeln with over 600 steps, leads to the heights around Emberg. With the Wolfsschlucht gorge, we reach the eerie part of the hike before heading back up to the romantic town of Zavelstein with its impressive castle. Descending back down into the Teinach valley, we are surprised by a monument, the Adolfshöhe.

This eventful hiking tour concludes with a section that leads directly along the Teinach, promising tranquillity, nature and originality. A leisurely hike that is a little more challenging, but promises plenty of adventure in the northern Black Forest.
