Lake Krüpelsee Circular Trail

From Monday, 22.11.2024 - 24.02. 2024, tree felling work will be carried out in the Tiergarten, announces district forester Stephan Parsiegla. The client is the Hammer forestry operation of the Brandenburg State Forestry Office. The area between Krimnicksee and Tiergartenstraße as well as individual areas west of Tiergartenstraße are affected. The only exception is the total reserve in the northern area, including the Husareneck. For safety reasons, the Zeesener See and Krüpelsee hiking trails and the Tiergarten circular hiking trail will remain closed until then.

Description
The route passes through major residential areas, partly along the shores of Lake Krüpelsee and Lake Krimnicksee, with bathing areas, historic sights, idyllic rest areas in the forest and opportunities for exploring the world of nature. The route can also be walked in individual stages and combined with a steamer trip from or to Berlin. There are cafés and restaurants, water sports facilities and places to stay along the way, plus the Neue Mühle lido.
