The Havelland regions offers unspoilt nature, expansive pastureland and quiet hamlets. Enjoy cycling over flat land on a well asphalted path. The route follows the Havelland Cycle Path and leads from Nauen to the village of Ribbeck. The listed area of the historic town centre of Nauen is generally well preserved and certainly worth a visit: the buildings here date back to the time after the fires of 1695 and 1765 and there are also houses that were built during the period of rapid industrial expansion in Germany around the turn of the 20th century. The typical farmer townhouses in the historic town centre, the church of St. Jacobi and the town hall form an interesting ensemble.
The village church in Ribbeck with its pear tree – made famous by Fontane's poem Herr Ribbeck von Ribbeck im Havelland – attracts numerous visitors from near and far.
