Favourite cycle routes: to Wilhelmshöhe

Explore the east of the island!
Today you grab your bike and cycle to Wilhelmshöhe. Once in the town, head east and cycle through the town. Look at the wonderful clinker brick architecture, enjoy the carriages coming your way and then turn off onto Flugplatzstraße. Along the salt marshes, greet the grazing horses and resting birds.
Park your bike at the bike park and climb the last few metres on foot. Before or after your break, stop and admire your surroundings: the Juister shooting club operates its shooting range here, nestled directly in the dune landscape. In the distance, you will see small, colourful houses - this is not the home of the Juist dwarves, but a beekeeping station (you cannot enter here, but you can still enjoy the view from a distance). Don't forget to go to the beach either, because already here (not too far from the village) the beach looks completely different.
You can take a short break at Café Wilhelmshöhe. Your way back takes you along Jaguarstraße in the north of Wilhelmshöhe to Otto-Leege-Pfad. Here you descend again and explore the nature trail with its art installations and display boards. Then return to the village. Take the road An't Diekskant instead of driving through the village. This way you can experience as much nature as possible from the seat of your bike.
