Literary hiking trail Lage-Hörste

2.5 km of the Hermannsweg are accompanied by poetic thoughts: The poems were written by members of the two author groups "Garden of Poetry" and "LipPen" and are updated every two years. If interested, special literary hikes along the Hermannsweg are offered additionally. This offer is complemented by readings in the climatic health resort. Two reading stations are set up as resting places with boulders and stone blocks. These resting places invite walkers and hikers to both sit down and reflect on what they have read.
A flyer provides an overview of where the reading or resting stations are located and which poems await the walkers and hikers there. This flyer is available for free at the starting and finishing points, namely at the forest inn Bienen-Schmidt and at the guest house.
This Literary Hiking Trail also sees itself as an active contribution to environmental protection. Walkers and hikers walking this path are encouraged through the trail guidance to stay on the Hermannsweg and not to walk off-trail through the forest on their own.
