Nordic Walking Route Lage-Hörste

"The Romans are coming!" - This is what the Lipper say in memory of old times when they see a group of Nordic walkers marching through the Teutoburg Forest again. After Dörentrup, Horn-Bad Meinberg, Extertal, and Detmold, the city of Lage opened the fifth Lippe Nordic Walking Center in Hörste in 2008, completing the five centers. The German Ski Association has certified a total of 19 routes with a total distance of 143 km in the five centers. All routes are homologated according to sports science criteria, graded by different levels of difficulty, and signposted with signs and information boards, so that the athlete receives assistance, for example, in the correct cross-country skiing technique.
