With the districts of Börninghausen (air spa since 1992), Büscherheide, and Einighausen, the Eggetal is rightly referred to as the "jewel of the Lübbecke region." The quiet and idyllically located places are situated on the southern slope of the Egge and are almost entirely surrounded by wooded heights. Experience the wonderful view that the Eggetal offers in all its diversity on the Eggetal Panorama Circular Trail.
For small and large breaks, there are plenty of benches along the Panorama Circular Hiking Trail and even a forest sofa (near the observation tower) on the trail.
The 29.5-meter high observation tower on the ridge of the Wiehengebirge offers a magnificent panoramic view. 125 steps lead up to the new observation platform.
