Walk through ice mountains/Fülme

Opposite the parking lot at the ev. Church (at the end of the street "Im Geist") stands the church Eisbergen, founded in 896 according to the Hildburg legend. It is open from Easter to September. A visit is worth it.

To the east of the church runs the "Hildburgstraße." We follow it in a southeast or east direction.

We continue following the "Hildburgstraße 1", which after about 700 meters turns right over the bridge over the railway line Hameln - Löhne.

We continue downhill, cross the "Weserstraße" and reach the Weserbrücke.

We go back over the railway bridge and turn right into the street "Lammerbach". There we pass the recommended alternative parking lot and turn left into "Ritterstraße". From there, we turn right into the first street ("Rote Wand").

At the end of the street, turn left into "Scherfling". We are now in the district of Fülme. The first street on the right is "Pappelstraße 11", which we follow eastward.

Just before the end of "Pappelstraße", we turn left into "Libellenweg". Between farms and orchards, we return to "Scherfling". There we turn right.

Shortly before the houses on the Emme, a meadow path branches off to the right called "Goltzenburg".

We follow the meadow path and arrive at "Breihegrund 11".

We continue and see a beautiful mountain meadow on the left. Below the slope to the right is a spring bog.

We continue. Above the path to the left appears the Goltzenburg, which burned down in early 2008.

We continue on the path, which ends at the "Fülmer Straße".

We turn right, reach the southern edge of the forest, and walk along the path to the left along the southern edge of the forest.

At the eastern end of the forest, we turn onto the path to the north.

We follow the path that leads around the nature reserve and brings us back to the "Fülmer Straße". We follow it to the right or north. At the fork in the road, we turn left into "Emmstraße".

We reach the ridge of the "Emme". On the left is a bus stop with a bench. We cross the street into the valley (washout) that begins there. We pass by the two former farms on the left.

At the end of the path, we follow the cross path to the left. At the end of it, we turn left again, towards the cemetery. Behind the second house, we turn into Pattweg along the renaturalized "Lammerbach".

On the next road, we cross the stream and take the Pattweg, which now leads to the right of the stream. We cross the street "Lehmkuhle" and continue on Pattweg. It ends in front of the houses at the "Rote Wand". We turn right and follow the path back to the church.
