The visitor passes numerous sights. At Lindlar Market Square, the starting point of the local circular path, is the Old Amtshaus from 1668, where a peace negotiation between France and Austria took place in 1795. A few steps further is Haus Biesenbach, one of the oldest houses in Lindlar, which has served as a rectory, bakery, or post office. A slight incline leads to the Evangelical Jubilate Church, built in 1954, which was expanded in 2011 to include the Jubilate Forum with an integrated multi-generational house.
The elevator for the "Jubilate Forum" standing by the road can be used for a rewarding view over Lindlar. The path passes by the cultural center, sports facilities, and the leisure park, which offers various leisure activities. Heading north, there is an ascent to a roundabout where the Traffic and Beautification Association has erected a colorful wind chime. The path follows Pollerhofstraße with a section of the Lindlar Stations of the Cross from the "Frauenhäuschen" to the parish church of St. Severin. In Pollerhofstraße is the Winterschule, which was built before World War I as a training building for rural women and converted in 2001 into the "artgenossen" hotel. The individual room design by renowned artists is remarkable. A little further is the Old District Court, built in 1902, which served as a police station and prison until 1974 and now houses, among other things, the youth center. The Otto Lob Corner, named after the composer, conductor, and teacher Otto Lob (1834-1908), leads to Park Plietz, which houses a playground and a memorial for the stonemasons. In the center is the Plietz House. Continuing on, past the library located in a natural stone house built in 1842 as a school, and the Bessemsbenger monument, erected in 1984 in honor of the broom makers (a side job of the stonemasons). Around the Catholic parish church of St. Severin, first mentioned in a document in 1109 and featuring an allegorical ceiling painting, one can admire remarkable stonemasonry. The church square with its cafes and boutiques forms the "heart" of the town. Passing through the cemetery, which houses an impressive mausoleum, you reach the town hall. The path leads from there back west along the main street, past the Lamsfuß smithy from the 18th century, which was in operation until 1962. Back at the market square, you come to the Steenkühlerbrunnen, an installation of bronze figures, built in 2002.
The entire route is wheelchair accessible and there are numerous dining options.
