Bike Arena Sauerland - Faulebutter & Co. (Start: Schmallenberg)

From Schmallenberg in the heart of the Sauerland, it goes on a fantastic round. After a short ascent to Wormbach, a nearly 20-kilometer long, gently sloping passage through small, picturesque villages follows. Behind Wenholthausen, it goes uphill again and over Grevenstein, the seat of the Veltins brewery, and Meinkenbracht to Sundern. Here follows a short stretch of federal road, then a short ascent to the Sorpesee. Here you can roll along the shore saving energy. Via Sundern-Hagen and a winding descent, the route leads to Rönkausen. Now the main ascent is waiting: Over Glinge and up to Faulebutter and further to Röhrenspring. Dreamy little roads and great views compensate for the altitude meters. In a constant alternation between ascents and descents, the route then leads back to Schmallenberg via Oedingen and Bracht.
