Winterberg-Hallenberg Circuit

The route takes you from the tourist information office in Winterberg along the cycle path R47 towards Kahler Asten. A detour to the Kahler Asten Tower is highly recommended. To continue the tour, however, you have to go back to the junction. At the parking lot Helleplatz, turn left onto the W3 and ride through beautiful forest downhill to the picturesque Züschen, where you will meet the Nuhnetal cycle path. The tour continues downhill until just before Hallenberg. Here, turn left and climb steeply towards Hesborn along the cycle paths H2, R49, and W3. You will pass the hiking parking lot Hohe Schlade and then steadily ascend below the Bollerbergturm tower on forest paths (Hesborner Weg W2) back to Winterberg. Along the way, you can enjoy magnificent views. Before you return to Winterberg, at the Funkturm tower on the Kreuzberg, you will have a fantastic panoramic view over Winterberg and the surrounding mountains.
