Bike Arena Sauerland - Three Lakes Loop

The Three-Lakes Loop starts in Sundern at the town hall. The route begins with a relaxed ride through the Linnepe valley to Grevenstein, the location of the Veltins Brewery, which we pass directly. After a short climb, a beautiful descent awaits down to Wenholthausen. The tour then takes us several kilometers uphill to Oesterberge and Schüren airfield. Above Lake Henne, we ride to the village of Calle. Continuing in the Wenne valley, we reach the Ruhr valley via Olpe. From Oeventrop, the route steadily ascends for several kilometers to Hirschberg. Next, a longer, flatter, and scenic section awaits along Lake Möhne. Along the shore, there are many opportunities to unclip your cycling shoes from the pedals and give your feet a little cooling off. Crossing the western tip of the lake, we head further south and can relax from Breitenbruch onwards. For several kilometers, it's downhill to Arnsberg. Arnsberg, with its picturesque old town, is perfect for a short stop and a coffee. The Sigh Valley leads us to the next lake, Lake Sorpe, where a relaxed ride along its eastern shore is in order.
