The tour starts at the train station in Marsberg. The city has a lot to offer. The historic Obermarsberg - the old city on the hill -, an old city wall, many monuments as well as the visitor mine Kilianstollen. The tour leads through open landscapes, forests, meadows, quiet streets, and field paths to the Aabach reservoir. The Aabach reservoir, as a large drinking water reservoir of the region, is located in a natural and very beautiful landscape. The relaxing and soothing atmosphere attracts numerous leisure athletes and hikers every year. The reservoir is almost completely surrounded. Along the way, there are some beautiful rest areas for tired cyclists. The tour leads back to the starting point in Marsberg via the holiday village of Fürstenberg and Essentho.
