You start your hike at the parking lot of the former cutlery factory in Fleckenberg. From there, head towards the intersection, turn onto Jagdhauser Straße and from the bike station (about 400 m) take the hiking bus of the Schmallenberg Sauerland to the starting point of your hike, to Jagdhaus (about 7 minutes drive).

You will then hike in large parts along the Rothaarsteig and through the Latroptal back to the village of Fleckenberg.
