Among the numerous sights in Rheinbach are also some sections of the Roman aqueduct that have been set up in the city. The aqueduct once ran under today's Münstereifeler Straße and Bahnhofstraße. It is worth spending a little more time in the city, as some small treasures can be discovered. The region is also known for fruit growing, especially apple trees lining the paths around Rheinbach. Wide apple plantations stretch along the Roman aqueduct hiking trail - especially in spring and autumn, a delight for all the senses! Villages are walked through before entering a dense forest area and gradually approaching the Cologne area.
