Bike Arena Sauerland - Wenden Short

The start of the GPX track is the parking lot at the town hall in Wenden. Of course, the entry into this circular tour can also take place at any other location. The route requires some fitness, as there are some steep sections to master over the heights of the Sauerland Rothaargebirge Nature Park and the Bergisches Land Nature Park.
The tour is still moderate from Möllmicke to Wendener Hütte. The first ascent begins after Hillmicke. More ascents follow before Halbhusten and Benolpe, which are immediately rewarded by relaxed descents. From Eckenhagen to Konradshof, you can pedal vigorously again. In Nespen, you are not far from the Wiehltalsperre and some Grauwacke quarries.
The tour continues over Nosbach and the Benze and Binsenbach nature reserves. Via Rothemühle, Ottfingen, and a final underpass of the motorway, you return to Wenden.
