High-flying circular tour through the Sorpe Valley

When walking the circular route through the romantic Sorpe Valley and over the Hunau, guests wander through the primeval forests of tomorrow. From the hiking car park "Großes Bildchen," the tour leads through meadows and forests, past small rivers and along idyllic villages, marked with a white H on a blue background. In the middle of the forest lies the Old Forester's Lodge Rehsiepen, a beautiful architectural monument. At the Sattelbogen, the path meets the Sauerland-Höhenflug (marked by a white H on a yellow background), which leads high up to the Hunau ridge with the mighty Bödefeld telecommunications tower. There and at the Bödefeld ski lift, hikers marvel at the magnificent view. In the nature reserve on the Hunau, extensive beech forests and mysterious moors fascinate.
