Alpen:
Alpen on the Lower Rhine - an idyllic place surrounded by greenery. Large forest areas, interesting sights, and recreational facilities make the municipality worth experiencing. Numerous restaurants invite you to stay, and there is something for everyone, including overnight guests.
Issum:
The picturesque old beer village with the districts Issum, Sevelen, and Oermten offers much more than the well-known brewery. Here, many other sights can be discovered, and not only the popular Oermter Berg and the fun pool Hexenland attract numerous visitors every year. In Issum, one of the oldest surviving village synagogues can be found, and the restored Herrlichkeitsmühle and the His-Törchen are also worth a visit.
Sonsbeck:
Sonsbeck, the "Green Pearl on the Lower Rhine," is located in a nature-rich landscape with cycle paths far away from the hustle and bustle of mass tourism. A highlight is the Sonsbecker Schweiz, from which a view over the Lower Rhine to the Ruhr area is possible. A visit to the new viewing tower on the Dürsberg is absolutely recommendable - here, the view of the beautiful Lower Rhine municipality compensates for the effort of the ascent.

Gain insights into the history of the city: the historic old town offers you, for example, an impressive view of the cathedral and the pretty cityscape on the market square. Experience far-reaching views on the Fürstenberg: the effort is worth it! You can learn more about the history on many information boards. And small detours on the mountain (chapel, avenue, and views) make you forget the effort!
