Volume Treasure - Field, Farm and Livestock: from the "simple country life"

The journey into the past begins at the Heesfelder Mühle (www.heesfelder-muehle.de), an agricultural project of Heesfelder Mühle e.V. with an organic shop, café (Café Heimatliebe, www.cafeheimatliebe.de), restored village school ... and there is plenty to see here: historical, conventional agriculture as well as contemporary, environmentally conscious ecological management of fields and forests.
Starting from the nature conservation center, the hike leads through the valley of the Schlechtenbach and later back through the Steinbachtal. Passing by many (former) farmhouses, fish ponds, meadows, and coppices. Theme boards along the wayside provide vivid information about (historical) agriculture in the Volme region; additional digital content can be accessed via QR codes.
A great excursion, especially with children who will love the farm atmosphere. The environmental projects of Heesfelder Mühle raise awareness for ecology and resource conservation.
Special features along the wayside: in addition to information boards with exciting information and sometimes QR codes for further videos or audio tracks, you can also discover a treasure chest of experiences and a panoramic picture frame along the way.
