Horn-Bad Meinberg Lavender Tour for tourists

We first take you to the historic peat cut "Bad Meinberg Stinkebrink" in the Napte valley, where you can learn about the healing moor and the biological uniqueness. Cycling on a narrow bike path through the Naptetal valley up to the first small hill, from there you can enjoy the view of the mountains of the Teutoburg Forest and Egge Mountains with the 468 m high Preußische Velmerstot. You pass by the Hornsche city wall with the Owl Tower and reach the marketplace. Cycling through small alleys, you arrive at Burg Horn with the local museum.
After the residential area on the outskirts, you roll through the vast fields and meadows towards Fromhausen. The access to the lavender fields is already signposted there. Now, just a short steep climb from the Wiembecke valley up to the fields with a beautiful view of the Teutoburg Forest and the Hermannsdenkmal.
The way back first leads back to Fromhausen and further on the cycle and footpath through the fields (former connecting road for motor vehicles actually closed) towards Horn. There, you cycle through the small commercial and industrial area past the technical installations of the three "biomass power plants" towards Horn-Bad Meinberg train station. The return to the starting point leads via Bahnhofstraße to the roundabout at Bad Meinberg and straight into the avenue to the Historical Spa Park as the center of the district.
