The tour is not very long at around 8.5 kilometres, but the climbs - especially the more than 800 steps up to the Brand - are sometimes quite demanding, which is why it is classified as moderately difficult.The tour first leads from Porschdorf through the beautiful Tiefen Grund to the Brand steps and then up to the Brandaussicht, from where you have a breathtaking view. Afterwards, the route leads through the impressive Schulzengrund into the Polenztal valley and from there via the Füllhölzelweg path to the Gamrig - a very spectacular lookout rock near Rathen.
After exploring the Gamrig and the Gamrig cave, the tour then continues through the Aspichgraben directly to Rathen, where it ends.
