Small Railway Path (Tour 2)

The place Bruchhausen-Vilsen has around 40 km of marked hiking trails. By combining different trails (Tour 1-Tour 7), circular routes of various lengths are created. The paths lead through gentle hills, fields, lush meadows past streams and through intact nature around Bruchhausen-Vilsen.

The diversity of nature and the charms of the seasons make these paths into discovery tours. Places to stop for a rest, sights, and special features are included in the respective tour descriptions. The routes are easy to recognize due to the signage and generally lead along easily walkable paths.

Tour 2 Kleinbahnweg from the stop "Wiehe" to Dille (3 km, Marking: Steam locomotive):

Special features: Wiehe-Bad, Kurpark, Mini golf, Fitness trail, Kneipp open-air facility, on weekends from May 1st to October 3rd historical trains on the narrow-gauge railway.

From the stop "Wiehe" near Wiehe-Bad, the path leads to the entrance of the Kurpark. From here, the path leads west past the "Vilser Holz". On the other side of the narrow-gauge railway, we continue walking parallel to the tracks through meadows and fields to the Heiligenberg station and the restaurant "Dillertal". From there, the return can be made via Tour 1 Mönchsweg (Marking: Monk) or on weekends from May 1st to October 3rd with the museum railway.
