The Hermann Löns hiking trail in and around the Gold Village Brokeloh reveals points of interest over a length of 10 kilometers such as the "Löns Beeches" (natural monument), various glacial erratics, the "Old Brokeloher Mill", the "Münchhausen Castle/Manor Brokeloh" and the viewpoint "Tempelberg".
The circular route leads over paths of different quality, with sand and gravel roads predominating. In addition, there are sections that include paved farm roads or only paths through heath, field, and forest areas. The starting and ending point is the Bickbeernhof.
In his book "On a Homey Stalk", report "Between Sea and Moor", the heath poet Hermann Löns describes one of his visits to Brokeloh. The village was awarded a gold medal in the federal competition "Our village should become more beautiful". In the Europe competition "Entente florale", Brokeloh won the silver medal.
