At "Weyher Berg"

"To Immhof" leads us past a few houses at a wayside cross. To our left now is the Weyher Schuttberg. Finally, we come across the cycle path that connects Brinkum and Kirchweyhe. We turn left towards Brinkum and now have a view of the water buffaloes. Several benches invite you to take a break.

We continue towards Brinkum, but not through the underpass, instead turning left parallel to the highway feeder road. We follow the path until we reach the road from Brinkum to Leeste. We turn left, continue along the road towards Leeste, turn into Hördener Straße after a few hundred meters, and thus reach the starting point. The path can be a bit muddy at first. Surprisingly, there is a wooden cross at the wayside that we did not expect.

The highlight is certainly the enclosure of the water buffaloes. A pair of binoculars offers a good view of the animals as they immerse themselves in the wallow. There is also a picnic area there. Before turning into Hördener Straße, we pass the memorial stone "Hörden 1250", which reminds us of the first documented mention of this small Weyher district.
