After starting in Neuenrade, the tour initially follows the Sorpesee, whose western shore is ridden for several kilometers. After passing through the city of Sundern, the route continues undulating over Hellefeld to Berge in the Wenne Valley. The route then follows the former railway track of the SauerlandRadrings to Schmallenberg. Now follows the open and agriculturally used Hawerland to Eslohe. Until Fretter, you follow the railway track of the SauerlandRadrings again, passing through the famous railway tunnel of Fehrenbracht, also known as the "bat tunnel" because rare bats stay there in the winter months. Now begins the long ascent to the highest point of the tour at Röhrenspring. On the following descent, the tour follows the valley of the Röhr to Endorf. From here, you ride undulatingly through Stockum, Allendorf, and Affeln back to the starting point in Neuenrade.
