SCHERMBECK.RUNDUM - Around the Devil's Stone

On about 30 kilometers you can literally experience the whole range of the local landscape on the tour around the Teufelsstein. The route is suitable for avid hikers but also for leisurely walks. And sections can also be walked for a stroll. Special landmarks offer themselves for a break time and time again. Along the circular route, innkeepers open their doors. Stop by and enjoy regional specialties in one of the many family-run businesses along the way! You will be pampered with hearty meals, savory snacks, and delicious cakes.
Scenically, the path initially leads over the former railway embankment of the Hamburg-Venlo route, which has since been renaturalized. Then the route turns through wide meadows and leads you through a typical Lower Rhine region. From the Weselerwald district, the comfortable cycle paths run along the edge of the Dämmerwald. Here, many farmsteads and farmhouses, reminiscent of Münsterland and almost North German style, line the way. The final stretch leads through the Dämmerwald and the forest path back to Schermbeck.
