Stage 11: Erkrath - Hilden

Erkrath to Hilden
In Erkrath, we first walk along the Düssel, then cross the railway tracks and walk slightly uphill through a dreamy little forest to the first highlight of the stage: a view over the Rhineland to the Cologne Cathedral.

Later, our path leads us through the Eller Forst to the Unterbacher See with various activities and dining options. We cross the highway and can refresh ourselves in Hilden at an extraordinary fresh milk vending machine.

We continue with "maritime" impressions, as we visit the Elbsee and later the Menzelsee. Shortly afterwards, after a walk through the Hasseler Forst, we reach our stage destination in Hilden-Hülsen. A beautiful section of the path where you can see three lakes.
