Starting from the Upper Mill, you will pass through the historic park of the Palaisgarten, past Germany's largest open-air museum, the LWL Open-Air Museum Detmold. Behind the open-air museum, you will have beautiful views of the mountain ranges of the Teutoburg Forest. Don't miss a short detour to the "Petite Provence" of Ostwestfalen-Lippe, the lavender fields in Fromhausen. Through the Leistruper Wald, you will reach your destination, the Kurpark in Horn-Bad Meinberg, after about 3.5 hours.
