On the way, we have the opportunity to enjoy views at the Jungfernhardt, the Geisberg, or the Schallenberg. For the latter, a small, partially steep ascent is required. From the Milchhäuschen, we take the delivery access road to the parking lot at Dicker Stein, cross the bridge over the L 331, and hike on the Rheinsteig route up to the foot of Nonnenstromberg. After a few hundred meters, we reach the second forest restaurant, the Einkehrhaus Waidmannsruh, on our tour. We then continue to Rosenau, where a short ascent is also worthwhile to enjoy a beautiful view of both the Rhine and the Oelberg. The path then leads through the sparse deciduous forest back to Margarethenhöhe, and it becomes clear that the described sections of the route are often used for a trip to the Siebengebirge on beautiful, sunny days, especially on weekends.
