Juist full of contrasts

This tour was suggested to us by a long-time friend of Juist. Thank you for it!
This varied route shows that you can look forward to varied paths even on such a small island.
You start at the Schiffchenteich, walk down Bahnhofsstraße in the direction of the harbour, turn left onto the dike just before the island mosaic and go straight ahead for the time being. When the dike ends, change to Flugplatzstraße and follow it until just before the airfield. Here you turn off at the Altena (Westf.) school hostel and follow the dune path towards the beach. The best place to walk is directly on the water's edge. Sure thing. When you reach the Strandhotel Kurhaus beach exit, follow the Strandstraße back to the Kurplatz.
This way you have already seen many different facets of Juist's nature - salt marshes, beach, dunes and the pretty village.
