The Wadden Sea - cycle path along the former mound settlements

This 55 km long circular tour leads past numerous of these settlement mounds. But that shouldn't be the only highlight. On the way along the North Sea coast and the mouth of the Weser, the route passes through charming villages such as Wremen, Cappel, or Neuenwalde.
The black and white lighthouse "Kleiner Preuße" in Wremen offers a beautiful view into the distance and in the fishing port of the town, you can experience true North Sea feeling with the colorful fishing boats and the salty sea air.
Also along the route is the only remaining monastery in the Elbe-Weser triangle, the Kloster Neuenwalde. Visits are possible by appointment. Alternatively, the monastery garden invites you to take a walk and linger.
For a little refreshment on the way, a stop at the Sieverner See is recommended.
