On the trail of the Spreewald railway - Part II - MTB tour

This bike tour starts at the hiking car park north of Butzen. Follow the traces of the Spreewaldbahn and ride along the old railway tracks - from loading station (ramp) to loading station. Crossing the Lieberoser Heide, you discover the area around the Spreewald from a completely different perspective. One of the largest forest areas in Brandenburg is crossed by easily passable forest highways and trails... always on the historical remains of the Spreewaldbahn.

Arrival / Departure: Car: From Berlin Schönefelder Kreuz A13 towards Dresden-Forst to Dreieck Spreewald on A15 towards Cottbus-Forst. Exit Vetschau, continue towards Burg. From Dresden Dreieck Nord A13 Berlin to Dreieck Spreewald on A15 towards Cottbus-Forst. Exit Vetschau, continue towards Burg, through Burg towards Straupitz and then towards Goyatz until Butzen. Keep right after Butzen and follow the signs to the hiking car park.
