These are unmarked, cozy tours that lead through our beautiful, diverse landscape. Of course, if you want to discover something in nature, you have to venture into nature. So, many paths are close to nature: there may be a muddy spot or a tractor may have just passed by. Because you share these paths with our farmers, foresters, and riders.
But if you embark on the journey - sorry, the six paths - you will discover a lot of beauty. What are you waiting for? By the way, you can easily reach five of the six paths with the Regio-S-Bahn.
Tour 1:
Start at Etelsen train station, drive to the right on the northern side of the track and turn left into Berkelsstraße. And then surprisingly on the right side: "Art on the way"! Continue to Giersberg, and if you make a short detour to the right behind the highway, you will come to Giersberger Schanze, a testament to earlier fortification. It continues to Steinberg, where you turn left at the last house. The admittedly very natural path leads you right through the Etelser Moor, which in its pristine state is truly a very special sight. And almost unexpectedly, you go through a light high forest over the highway and under the track to Etelsen.
Of course, the mill "Jan Wind" is a must here! Keep going: castle and castle park (please push your bikes here), a bit further the lock canal with the lock. You reach Alt - Cluvenhagen, where the houses are built on mounds so that the Weser flooding cannot harm them. At the end of Ellernbuschdamm, there is a lake, created by sand extraction, often used for bathing in summer. Take a short detour on our marked hiking trail "Between Castle and Castle" to the right: The steep bank at the "Old Aller" is a very special landscape treasure.
Back again, please meander to the right past the farm, take Wilkensstrasse up to Cluvenhagen. Behind the "Stiftung Waldheim," drive down Waldstrasse, then turn left, a short distance along the track, and soon you are back in Etelsen.
You can also find the Langwedeler treasure hunt tour 1 on Komoot.
