Wind-Forest-Meadow Path West, Circular hiking trail Dörenhagen-Haxtergrund

The first circular route (EAST) stretches from Dörenhagen to the east and south, allowing you to explore all three districts of Dörenhagen, the area of Nonnenbusch/Friedwald and the Paderborn high plain. The second circular route (WEST) connects Dörenhagen with Haxtergrund, the popular recreational area of Paderborn. From there, there is also the possibility to "hike further" towards Paderborn, thus creating a perfect connection from "village to city".
Along the route, 12 information boards have been set up to provide information on historical and cultural aspects: for example, you can learn about communication techniques during the time of the Prussians or about the changing locations of the statue of Mary at the star in Haxtergrund.
