The route to the district of Reede to the harbor starts at the tourist information office at Georg-Schütte-Platz and initially runs along Deichstraße. After turning onto Süderstraße, follow it in the direction of the Electric Lighthouse. Change to Emsstraße, then to Randzellstraße, and then turn into Greune Stee.
From there, go straight towards the sheltered harbor, where not only the rescue workers of the DGzRS hold their position, but also the National Park Lightship BORKUMRIFF offers interesting insights into one of the most exciting eras of German maritime history and the Lower Saxony Wadden Sea National Park.
Back in the village, you can take the same way back or return via Reedestraße, Deichstraße, Süderstraße, and the promenade.
