The entry point for the Jägerstieg is the Enjoy Hotel Harz in Bockswiese. Once you have left Bockswiese, the path leads through the forest for a while. You cross the K36 and walk a short distance down to the cemetery at the Great Crane Pond. From there, you can hike back to the Kurhaus via the cleared path in the spa park, from where you can reach the town center. If you want to walk a bit further, the winter hiking trail to Kuttelbacher Teich is recommended.
