The start of this tour is at the tourist information in Winterberg. Initially, this circular tour takes you around the Kahler Asten on cycle path R 18 to Westfeld.
From there, follow the Lenne towards its source on the Lenneradweg and enjoy the idyllic low mountain range landscape along the stream.
Once you reach Lenneplätze, you will be rewarded with a magnificent panoramic view before heading on a section of the popular long-distance hiking trail Rothaarsteig towards Hoheleye. After briefly touching B 236, continue on A3 with a view of the Lenne.
After turning left twice, you will arrive at Hoheleye. Through Neuastenberg, follow the R47 back to Winterberg.
