Sculpture Trail Warpe

Who doesn't know them: museums in historically significant buildings, filled with valuable works of art. On the other hand, a sculpture trail is art in public spaces, made accessible to everyone at all times. Through it, art, culture, and tourism are lived in harmony with nature permanently, whether in summer or winter, alone or in a group.

The signposted sculpture trail runs for about 16 kilometers as a circular route through the municipality of Warpe and can be explored on foot, by bike, and by car. There is no designated starting or ending point. The route is marked with route signs. Information boards provide interesting facts about the artworks.

Eight sculptures line the circular route. From granite and steel to a riot of colors and monochromatic pieces, to a three-ton colossus, the artworks present themselves in various forms. They are meant to be discovered and observed, to capture gazes and stimulate thoughts. The sculpture trail enriches the natural, expansive landscape and is considered one of the artistic rarities in rural regions. It equally encourages art enthusiasts and novices to engage with the subject of art.
