"The long country outing"

There is a lot to discover on this tour. The first 20 kilometers are already impressive, for example: the Quendorfer Lake with the café "Else am See", Europe's largest bedding plant nursery "Emsflower", the village of Engden with Dobbenspeicher, the Hestrup train station café, the Brandlecht estate with Café Staelberg or the restaurant "Am Waldeck". For nature lovers, a detour to the Isterberg is also worthwhile. From the natural rock or observation tower, you have a fantastic view. This is also promised by the castle ruins in Bad Bentheim. Beautiful places to stop for refreshments such as the Isterberger Waldhaus, the Café zum Waldbauern in the Bentheimer Wald, the Regiomat at the Diekmann farm, the campsite "Am Berg", the "Hotel Stähle" or the village shop Ohne are worth a stop. Also worth seeing: the Dennemann farm cheese dairy and some art trail stations along the way.
