Favourite cycle routes: to the airfield

Off you go to the airfield. Juist has a super large number of planes taking off and landing - the second most in Lower Saxony, in fact. No wonder, because in addition to the island pilots, private planes also take off and land here, as well as the planes of Jubi, which always offers courses.
Anyway, today you take your bike and doze off to the east of the island. When you start in the village, you cycle through the east village and then turn onto the airfield road. When you arrive at the airfield, park your bike at the bicycle parking area. Now you can watch the planes, have a delicious meal in the airfield restaurant or continue on foot in the direction of Kalfamer. The "Kälberwiese" itself is reserved for the birds nesting there in summer, but you can always walk along the information trail.
When you are ready to start the return journey, pedal hard and keep left to follow the road An't Diekskant back towards the village instead of cycling through the East Village again.
