The "Spazierweg A3 Kussel" starts at the mill pond which is fed by the Rethlager Bach. The tour goes clockwise through the adjacent residential area called Kussel, which gives the tour its name. Upon reaching the edge of the forest, the tour leads up the Great Ehberg through the so-called Düstergrund after a few meters. Running over the mountain, you will pass the former quarry, the Kalkwerk Dörenschlucht. You should definitely not miss a look into the quarry. Crossing the main road, we reach the Rethlager Quelle through the Dörenschlucht, where the stream of the same name originates. We follow this back to our starting point, the mill pond.
