The Tree Adventure Path Schwelentrup leads you around Burg Sternberg to the Historical Stable Barn along the old Forester's House through the arboretum for about 3.5 km to Schwelentrup. You will hike through beautiful nature along a forest stream. Around the castle, you will experience large areas of wild garlic, the birthwort, and in April, the breathtaking blooming of the corydalis. Enjoy a magnificent view of the Begatal from up here.

The play and rest area Schwelentrup next to the Historical Stable Barn can be used to play, rest, or have a picnic to your heart's content.
If you do not want to walk the Tree Adventure Path from Schwelentrup back to Burg Sternberg, you can take bus lines 800 and 802 from the Schwelentrup Grünetal bus stop near the Historical Stable Barn to the Extertal Linderhofe bus stop back to Burg Sternberg every hour (except during school holidays).
