The Apple Cycle Path takes you to Grongörgen with the pilgrimage church of the same name. The route continues via Aidenbach with its beautiful historic market square to Aldersbach. Here it is worth visiting the Bräustüberl, the brewery museum and the most beautiful Marienkirche in Bavaria, the monastery church of Maria Himmelfahrt. The small three-river town of Vilshofen impresses with its numerous sights such as the town square with its historic town tower and the town hall. The route continues along the idyllic Wolfach cycle path to Ortenburg and along the Apfel-Radl-Weg back to the starting point. You should definitely make a stop at the Sammarei pilgrimage site. The oldest wooden church in Germany is located here.

- in Vilshofen you can visit the Africa Museum in Schweiklberg Monastery. You can relax on the newly designed banks of the Danube or in the Gingkopark.
