Wildpark-Weg Brudergrund

On the culture and adventure trail, we hike from the historic town of Erbach with its world-famous sights, such as the count's collections in the castle and the German Ivory Museum, to the Brudergrund Wildlife Park with its red, black and fallow deer. The trail continues through the idyllic hamlet of Roßbach up to the Mossauer Höhe, where a magnificent panoramic view of the surrounding area awaits us. On the other side of the forest, we can look out over Erbach before descending back down to the town.

Way description:
We start in the Lustgarten and follow the S5 markings from the Mümlingbrücke bridge through Bahnstraße to Brudergrund. The trail runs along the edge of the game reserve uphill to Roßbach. We reach the Mossauer Höhe through open countryside and a further 100 meters in altitude. Here we turn right and walk along the Galgenberg through the forest to Sophienhöhe. After one and a half kilometers and 100 meters of altitude downhill, we reach the old town of Erbach again.

This trail can also be hiked in the opposite direction.
