Westlausitz-Rundweg

The circular trail connects some of the most beautiful landscapes such as the Luchsenburg castle or the legendary Massenei in West Lusatia. Go on an exploration tour through the West Lusatian mountains and hills and visit beautiful natural sites and cultural sights such as the gingerbread town of Pulsnitz, the baroque castle of Rammenau, the Butterberg as well as the animal and cultural park in Bischofswerda or the castle park in Großharthau. Variety is the order of the day on the circular route - nature and culture are there to be discovered and enjoyed in equal measure.
There are 5 train stations (Arnsdorf, Kleinröhrsdorf, Pulsnitz, Bischofswerda, Großharthau) where you can start the circular tour. Hikers' parking lots, where you can leave your car for several days, are located in Arnsdorf (Am Bahnhof), Pulsnitz (Schützenplatz), Ohorn (Am Bürgerhaus), Großharthau (Am Volkspark) and at the inn on the Butterberg. It is possible to hike the approx. 60 km long trail comfortably in 5 days, so that the cultural sights can be visited in peace.
