Luchsenburgweg

The almost 13 km long Luchsenburg Trail offers an entertaining day hike with several climbs. It starts and ends at the parking lot in front of the community center in Ohorn. The route runs mainly through the Luchsenburg forest. There is a place to rest and relax at the Black Pond against an idyllic backdrop. Once you reach the Tanneberg, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding area. There is a shelter and barbecue facilities here. Forsthaus Luchsenburg is a popular excursion restaurant in the region. In Ohorn, under a residential building, lies the source of the Pulsnitz. The community center in Ohorn houses the local history museum, which displays historical exhibits from the lives of the inhabitants of Ohorn and the Rödertal. A visit to the local history museum is possible by prior arrangement at the municipal administration in Ohorn.
